REVIEW: HSGI Laser Slim-Grip® Padded Belt - Slotted

There's hardly any way around the War Belt if you want to structure your First Line. So, put everything on your hips that will never be taken off: two pistol magazines, one rifle magazine, an IFAK, and a multitool. Life can be so simple. But of course, there are quite a few different War Belts. With the Laser Slim-Grip® Padded Belt - Slotted, HSGI offers a very classic solution, but in a modern and innovative implementation. When you lay the whole thing down: it is of course not a complete belt, but a sleeve that goes over a Riggersbelt, for example. The material is sturdy 1000D Cordura, but it was laser cut. Who wants to sew MOLLE loops these days. In the middle piece at the back, the MOLLE strip is four rows high, so you can attach larger pouches, while the wings get by with fewer. You can also see a Velcro piece to secure the belt that runs through, which is repeated at both ends. Where everything is directly accessible, three rows of MOLLE are enough. The cover itself is not implemented continuously, but in pieces and each enclosed with a hem, so that you can loop the actual belt through, which then repeatedly disappears and surfaces. So far, so unspectacular. A solid solution that doesn't surprise us. Just inside, we see something new. HSGI tends to use neoprene in new products - see also the Neo Chest Ring, which we introduced HERE - Neoprene is extremely comfortable to wear. You can even press with your finger, everything is soft. Wearing the Laser Slim-Grip® Padded Belt. Here you can see the inserted belt, which now surfaces to attach pouches directly - or the holster. The wide end of the Padded Belt actually builds upwards, so that the lower edge ends straight.

CONCLUSION: A solid and high-quality War Belt of extremely good workmanship. And so nice and soft inside... guys will love it.
