Pling, pling, pling! The ideal training partner for dynamic shooting or shooting over longer distances is the steel target. Gone are the long ways to retrieve hits, when a clear sound directly indicates the "hit." We have tested the Helikon-Tex Steel Targets for you.
Helikon-Tex does it right. In addition to the constantly improving clothing and gear lines, the Range-Line has been added to the product portfolio this year. Among them you will find clothing, slings, belts, shooting mats, bags, and the steel targets presented here.
This is the SRT Torso Target, which we did not shoot for legal reasons - silhouettes resembling humans are prohibited in Germany. To complete:
The smallest target: This is the SRT Mini Alpha Target. In the picture, no longer pristine, but shot a few times with 9mm. Other than the paint coming off, no problem. This target is 32.5cm x 15cm in size and also 10mm thick, thus suitable for the above-mentioned firearms/calibers.
The medium-sized target: This is the SRT Small Alpha Target, 30cm x 20cm x 1cm. Also adorned with some pistol hits.
So that the targets can be properly hung, hooks are available as accessories, …
… which are then attached to the wooden slats also available, …
… and can be fixed to the ground with these stands - as optional accessories.
Pistol is nice and all, but what can the fast .223 round do?
A little more paint chipped off, that's the only difference with the .223.
The targets are still too white. Time for a sandblasting treatment in the form of a shotgun.
The paint is literally pulverized….
