At the back of the helmet, a counterweight belongs to the night vision device. With the PVS31, it's solved differently. The battery compartment functions as the counterweight. Han's Factory was the first to replicate this Battery Pack.
This is the beautiful piece. Looks perfect. The battery symbol explains, just like the real one, what it's for.
Directly velcro at the back, that's how it goes on the helmet. A lanyard could still be a good addition...
On the left the power button for a special function, on the right the cable connection to the PVS 31 night vision device.
The button in the middle turns on. The knobs on the right and left are actually IR blinkers. They don't function on the dummy, of course. The thin wire on the right is the safety clip for the lid when it's removed.
The interior looks almost real. It lacks the metal parts that conduct electricity in the real one. But you can already store batteries there.
The cable looks almost real. However, newer models have one with angled connectors.
CONCLUSION: Great clone, ideal for the gear lover of the world.
Han's Factory PVS31 Battery Pack is unfortunately sold out.
