REVIEW: Gop Tac tracksuit

"Throw the glasses against the wall, Russia is a beautiful country," sings the famous song by Dschinghis Khan. The land is not only beautiful, but its fashion sense is also imperial. Just the thought of it probably has Karl Lagerfeld rolling in his grave, as he was not a fan of sweatpants. So spoke Karl: "Whoever wears sweatpants has lost control of their life." Well, be that as it may... We are big fans of this clothing style, even if it has some strange social connotations. And what could be better than a jogger in camouflage pattern? Luckily, the Mordor Tac also thought so and released the Gop Tac tracksuit, directly in Russia.

We opted for very Russian Digi Flora. Matches the new Ratnik system of the Russians. The zipper is not from YKK for a change, but it still works perfectly.

The stand-up collar is about 5 cm high and pleasantly encloses your neck.

Here is the most important detail of the Gop Tac tracksuit in close-up, the three individual, white stripes. These are made of seam tape and give the whole thing a very noble touch. A bottle of vodka to go with it, and you're the hipster among the gang members in the playground.

Subtly integrated on the upper arms is a Velcro area for patches. It measures 10 x 6 cm in total. There are people who are concerned that the three stripes could be mistaken for the three stripes of Adidas. We actually rule that out, as Gop Tac simply has three individual stripes.

The equipment is as classic as can be, reminiscent of a cut from the 1980s. The sleeve cuffs are finished with elastic fabric, very comfortable.

The same material is also found at the jacket hem.

Inside, there is nothing to see at all. Only the pocket compartment can be found here.

The fabric is quite thin, but at only 120 g/m², that's not surprising. The sun shines beautifully through it.

The label, naturally in Russian. In addition to the material mix used, the size is also indicated. A 35% cotton/65% polyester mix was used for the fabric, for those of us who don't understand Cyrillic, like us.

The brand label is made of rubber and very subtly built-in. The brand makes the mark. Mordor is a beautiful reference...

The pants in all their glory. Digi Flora is very discreet, as the jogger simply looks green from a distance. However, we wonder: not even the Chechens in our fitness center have commented on the noble attire in Russian camouflage... Perhaps it's better that way.

An unadjustable elastic in the waistband holds the pants up. The fit is snug but still comfortable.

The pant legs end straight and without a hem. Unfortunately, no skinny fit for our true hipster friends.

The three individual, parallel stripes must not be missing on the pants as well.

The combo in the back view. Going out in style. In some districts, just with the tracksuit, you are automatically the clan leader.
