Who doesn't know this? First, you buy a new pair of sunglasses for a fortune, only to make compromises because the desired frame shape is not available for your head shape, and then a few weeks later you step on them. Or alternatively, a comrade carelessly drops their equipment on your discarded glasses. Broken. Nothing can be done. The temple that should have popped out didn't, instead the joint broke - or even the whole lens. What remains is an expensive pile of plastic junk. This won't happen to you with Gloryfy ... At first glance, one would not have identified Gloryfy as a tactical eyewear. What a mistake. Thanks to the "Tyrolean" eyewear manufacturer Gloryfy, similar incidents like breakage during operations can be effectively reduced.
Thanks to their well-proven, patented, and highly flexible G-Flex® plastic frame, it is very difficult to break your glasses. Take a look at the next pictures, we have tortured the glasses. Many major eyewear manufacturers have tried to copy such frame properties in recent years. Without success. The Austrians remain at the forefront. Where other companies stop and declare to have reached the limits of feasibility - the lenses - the Tyroleans forge ahead once again. With their "I-Flex®" eyewear material, they have succeeded in creating a plastic that is almost as flexible as the frame itself.
As if that weren't enough: the special feature is that the flexibility is distortion-free. This means that even when the lens is bent and pressed, the view remains sharp.
But what makes the Alpha Air so special? Well, firstly there is the G2/G3 frame. It ensures that the glasses adapt to every facial contour. Whether long and narrow or short and wide - the material and shape (base curve 9) make it possible.
Furthermore, the temple arms are wide enough to prevent side sun exposure from reaching the eyes. A detail that many overlook, but which is critical in the mountains, as it is the most effective way to prevent snow blindness. Additionally, the frame is still so close to the face at its widest points that no calibers' shells can penetrate the eye. This alone makes them a favorite at the shooting range and in combat duty.
The "Air" Function: It essentially consists of cut-outs in the lens and the corresponding ones in the front part of the frame. This significantly increases the air circulation behind the lens, which is particularly noticeable during strenuous activities (combat duty, mountaineering, skiing). In addition, the incoming air does not blow directly into the eye, but is guided from the frame over the inside of the lens. This means that even in the strongest wind, there is no draft on the eye. Neither when riding a motorcycle, skydiving, nor in icy storms in the mountains. The eye stays dry and does not tear. The effect of the small holes: fogging occurs more slowly, it occurs less, and it clears up faster (without wiping). There is no hundred percent "fog proof" etc.
Here in the image is also the area that makes contact between the glasses and the face. The saddle fits well and comfortably. However, one cannot satisfy everyone's nose with it, as the nose part is not adjustable. All nice and well, but this will be of little use to the mole-like among us, right? Well, not quite. The penny-pinchers can have inexpensive lenses mounted by their optician to at least take advantage of the frame benefits. The more affluent can have Gloryfy bendable lenses made from the same "I-Flex®" in their prescription! And not just in one shape or color, but in twenty-two!
CONCLUSION: Flexible, durable, and also with optical solutions. This combination and these possibilities alone make the Tyrolean Gloryfy the first choice for combat, sports, and everyday carry glasses. The brown tone of the list here also creates good contrasts for observation. At the same time, Gloryfy is a pair of glasses that doesn't look socially conspicuous tactically: that is, it can also be worn casually and for sports. But in use, it also tactically delivers on its promises. Recommended.
