REVIEW: Faber Castell Perfect Pencil

No more dull pencils! That's what the "Perfect Pencil" from Faber-Castell promises, and it delivers. We have been using this overlooked gimmick for a while now and will tell you what you can expect from it: The Perfect Pencil is - surprise - a classic pencil with an eraser at one end and a protective cap. So far, so good. However, the very thoughtful detail is in this protective cap: a sharpener. This means no more dull pencils. And for water on the notepad: Rite in the Rain. The pencil is shorter than its conventional counterparts, but the protective cap fits, so a replacement is provided. However, there are also the original pencils in a 3-piece refill pack. The total length with the cap attached decreases over time to 15 cm.
