Does a good pocket knife have to be expensive? Or in other words: How much special forces are in something called SEAL? We played with the Enforcer SEAL and want to tell you how we liked it. The Enforcer SEAL comes inconspicuously. Brown packaging, very natural appearance. No frills, we like that. In the box there's a knife with a case. This is unusual, because normally the pocket knife has a belt clip. But it may also have something to do with different carrying habits. Some like it in the case on the belt, others tuck it in their pocket. Belt pouches are, in our opinion, a bit "old school" ...Especially because the nylon case has a wide belt loop. MOLLE is not there. Next to it is the knife with a clip and a paracord lanyard.Looking at the other side: the SEAL has very nice G10 handle scales, giving it a valuable look.It fits well in the hand and feels good too. Technical data for the Enforcer SEAL:

- Blade steel: 8Cr13MoV
- Handle material: G10
- Blade length: 9 cm
- Overall length: 19.8 cm
- Weight: 140 gSteel discussions are a bit like religious wars. Some compare 8Cr13MoV to AUS-8, saying that 8Cr13MoV is easy to sharpen but also loses sharpness easily, others say. We think it's a good blade; the steel is commonly used in knives manufactured in China. More exciting is the blade shape: the modern tanto, but quite pointed, with a serrated edge in the rear third of the blade. The wave assists you, for example, in cutting ropes. The tanto shape provides an aggressive point for piercing, while cutting is usually done with the blade edge where length and slope come together. The blade is locked with a liner lock. We tested it by turning the knife over and hitting the blade firmly on the table edge, multiple times. The lock held firmly and securely. That's good and safe, as it should be. When folded, the smooth blade is also well centered between the scales. The practical belt clip on the G-10 scales. The blade lifter is also nice to see. One-handed knives are simply practical. Finally, there is a formless but practical paracord lanyard attached to the SEAL. Helps with pulling it out of the pocket, and can also be embellished with a bead according to taste.

CONCLUSION: A solid knife at a good affordable price. Tanto with serrated edge is not very common, which is what makes this pocket knife unique, designed for durability and at the price, it gladly becomes an everyday workhorse.

You can get the Enforcer SEAL pocket knife from all Enforcer retailers. HERE at ASMC it costs Euro 31.99.
