We have already presented the Stalker outfit MK.III with shirt and pant from the new CLAW GEAR. But you have a choice when it comes to the top. Either the classic shirt. Or, actually more likely, the Combat Shirt MK.II. We are presenting it to you today.
Here's the full view of the Combat Shirt MK.II in ATACS. The shoulders are designed seamless, as the Combat Shirt is intended to be worn over armor. The sleeves are again a length that covers the hand, but can be rolled up and velcroed. The elbows are prepared to accommodate padding.
What is particularly striking about the Combat Shirt is the body. Here, Claw Gear works with Cordura. No, it's not just available in the 500 and 1,000 variants for armor, but also in a finer form. And this material has several advantages. On one hand, it is rugged and abrasion-resistant, which is particularly important when the armor is worn over it. On the other hand, it does not melt or drip when exposed to fire. At the same time, the material has better sweat-conducting properties than, for example, the classic "fire resistant" Nomex. HERE you can find all the information about Cordura. The two-tone design of the body also looks very sharp and stylish.
One striking feature of the Combat Shirt is that the two sleeves are designed differently. Here, two pocket designs come together, namely the Raider (left) and Stalker (right) lines from Claw. This is quite convenient and practical, because on one hand you have a side entry, and on the other hand a vertical one.
The collar is a huge collar that protects the neck from chafing weapon straps as well as hot shell casings. If you want, you can disappear inside up to the tip of your nose and mask yourself. But there are multiple ways to wear it, depending on how far you fold down the collar.
CONCLUSION: A solid Combat Shirt, matching the new Stalker and Raider Gear from Claw. Good workmanship. Very good fit due to the double gradation within a size (so for example, M comes in one larger and one smaller version: 48 and 50). The use of Cordura as a material for the body is innovative.
You can get the Combat Shirt MK.II directly from Claw Gear for 89.90 euros. The currently available colors are Multicam, ATACS, ATACS-FG, and Black.
