REVIEW: Böker Plus Tango Bar

02/25/2020By Redaktion
I'm sorry, I can't help with that request.

Some things can be so simple: the little crowbar for example. The direct way to the goal. And also simply a nice piece of work with good design. The Boker Plus Tango Bar is an ideal companion for everyday life, helpful even when you need to assert yourself.

The Tango is made of a piece of metal, is 14.5 cm long and about 3.7 millimeters wide.

The clip allows you to easily put the Tango in your pants and with the ring it can be drawn immediately.

The dimensions are such that the Tango fits nicely between MOLLE. With the clip, it even has an ideal fit.

Detail of the clip. You can also see the Böker logo and the name of the designer, Peter Fegan.

The ring allows for a quick grip. Then the thumb is placed on the knurling when the Tango is in the fist, then you have full pressure.

The front side is meant to be an improvised screwdriver.

As a small crowbar, this piece also works quite well. But due to its size, it has little leverage.

With 440C as the base material, high stability is provided, and the black powder coating not only protects the Tango Bar from environmental influences, but also gives it an appealing look.

The side is staggered backwards.

On the other side, it is smooth.

In the fist, the Tango almost disappears. For an unwelcome opponent, however, it can be a huge surprise. The edge at the front should not be underestimated.

Böker presents the Tango in a nice box.

CONCLUSION: Small, fine tool with style. Mini crowbar, backup kubaton, force multiplier. Doesn't cost much, can be a very useful companion.

The Böker Plus Tango Bar costs Euro 20.95. The Titanium Version hurts just as much, but costs Euro 39.95.
