When it gets cold, you need more batteries to achieve the same performance as when it's warm. This is where a Battery Pack for night vision devices comes into play. I-E-A Mil-Optics have a very sought-after Battery Pack, which we have presented to you HERE in the original and in detail in an alternative version. Let's take a closer look at the Battery Pack BNVD NT1431 with cable.
At first glance, the trained eye cannot tell whether we are seeing a copy or the original from L3. The workmanship is very high-quality, and the plastic looks identical.
The label on the back provides information that it is "only" a different version. Again, the impression is very high-quality.
The hook-and-loop surface securely holds the ARGUS Universal Strobe Battery Pack (USBP) on the helmet.
To ensure everything is waterproof, an O-ring is used, just like in the original. This one is red and not yellow like the real one, but it doesn't affect the waterproofing.
The boards and the processing inside are also top-notch. No wonder, as full functionality is the focus here.
Four AA batteries fit inside, allowing for a theoretical runtime of up to 50 hours. In the winter, this will likely be reduced to ten hours or less, but that's what it's designed for. But how does the power get to the night vision device?
The answer is simple, using a cable. Your night vision device must have a matching connector. According to the manufacturer, it fits the BNVD-1431, BNVD-931, BNVD PVS-31, and the GPNVG.
The socket looks top-notch and the connector fits perfectly.
Regarding the angled connectors, they appear to be from the Fischer ULTIMATE Series. However, upon closer inspection, there is no Fischer logo, so we suspect that the connectors are a copy. They work very well, though.
The whole thing is called Universal STROBE Battery Pack (USBP), where is it now? The flashing light only works in the IR spectrum and is activated with a small lever on the bottom. Just flip it over - and the blinking starts. The light purple shimmer on the two bumps is the strobe.
It is easier to see through the night vision device. The strobe is really very bright and autogating is highly demanded at short distances.
CONCLUSION: The manufacturer has done a great job with the Universal Strobe Battery Pack (USBP) and offers you a high-quality battery pack for your night vision device that is second to none in terms of quality, except in price. If you feel confident and have the appropriate connectors, you can try soldering a suitable connecting cable for your NVG, in case it is not compatible from the factory. But there is also a suitable NVG housing available.
The wonderful Battery Pack BNVD NT1431 with Cable is available directly from I-E-A Mil-Optics for 339 euros.

This is the entire scope of delivery of the USBP. The small hook and loop fastener is for the back of your helmet, if it doesn't have one. That's service ...
