PULSAR: The new thermal imaging device

02/19/2022By Redaktion

Pulsar is pleased to introduce the Krypton XG50 Thermal Forward Attachment. The Krypton XG50 is Pulsar's flagship and quickly and easily turns your daytime riflescope into a high-quality, fully featured thermal imaging lens that is perfect for shooting and hunting adventures around the clock, and can also be used as a 24-hour handheld monocular.

The new 640x480 microbolometer sensor of the Krypton Xg50 – manufactured in the USA – provides the user with a detection range of up to 2,500 meters for adult-sized heat signatures. The 12-micron pixel pitch ensures very good image quality and allows for stunning landscape and wildlife details even in zero light. As a true dual-purpose thermal camera, the quick detach adapter of the Krypton and the Precise Screen Positioning (PSP) mechanism allow for fast removal and reattachment of the Krypton in exactly the same position.

Its lightweight magnesium alloy housing is waterproof to IPX7 and ensures worry-free operation of the device in a variety of environmental conditions.
