The question of where to carry your first aid kit concerns everyone who needs one. Our American friends typically carry it in a pouch like the Blow-Out Pouch from London Bridge Trading. The company Phokus now offers a new solution. The IFAK goes into a plastic bag that has the same dimensions as a Medium SAPI Plate (see above).
Here is the entire kit. It fits perfectly with the SAPI and is hardly noticeable because, in terms of surface area, it is not really thick. The trauma kit can be quickly pulled out at the loop that sticks out. Paracord can also be attached to the small loop on the right.
The whole thing is then slid into the plate carrier. The Plate Carrier does not become much thicker. However, there are voices that criticize this positioning of the first aid materials. Because in the event that the plate is penetrated, the IFAK will also be penetrated and rendered useless. Phokus' trauma kit comes in different versions: HERE you can see the different versions.
