What is he calling out again? And who is excited by a hearty “Panzer Hurra”?
In the various branches of the German Armed Forces, traditional battle cries have become established, which on the one hand are intended as greetings and congratulations as in other professions (e.g. “Glück auf” of the miners) or in some sports (such as “Gut Holz” in bowling), and on the other hand are intended to strengthen and express the esprit de corps and camaraderie of the troops.
And don't worry: The official calls of the branches of the Armed Forces were once again established as military tradition in the Guidelines for Tradition Care in the Army by the Inspector General of the Army on December 1, 1999.
In that sense: PANZER HURRA! HERE with us as a patch.
