Last weekend, the rising star of riflescope manufacturers invited representatives from various countries to a meeting, and dealers traveled from many countries to attend. The representation from Australia had the furthest journey, while the most important markets in Central Europe were represented by RUAG for Austria and Italy, GermanGunWorks for Germany, Top Strely for Czechia, Proshooting for Hungary, as well as Poland, Slovakia, France, and several other nations.
However, the meeting was anything but a traditional sales show as seen with other manufacturers. ZERO COMPROMISE (ZCO) wants to take a different approach than most by using the expertise of the dealers and incorporating it into their own decision-making. This is something remarkable because dealers at the front line know best what actual users need.
So, it changes from a "here you go" to "what do you need," and when you think about it, this is a very smart approach by the premium riflescope manufacturer near Vienna.
However, the focus is also on the guests themselves. It was noticeable that the selected country representatives were not the type of dealers who just move masses of goods, but they themselves brought high quality. Here, too, ZCO takes a different approach and relies on the high quality of those who are allowed to offer the scopes in the first place. So, you can trust the dealer list on the ZCO website, because when you buy from one of the listed dealers, you will also receive high-quality advice and expertise. Each one was carefully selected to meet the demand for quality, even in terms of consultation, with no compromises.
This quality was also evident in the open discussion session in the evening, as the experience of those present in the areas of Long Range, target shooting, hunting, and military led to many suggestions to the manufacturer that will be considered. This included not only discussing existing top products such as the reigning king of the LR community like the ZC527 or the powerful ZC840 with its outstanding image quality even at high magnifications that is unmatched... They also had the confidence to present prototypes to the select group, which are currently being meticulously developed and tested, and they certainly do not want competitors to catch wind of them.
Unfortunately, we must disappoint readers who are now waiting for a hint about the upcoming scopes and developments from Zero Compromise. Confidentiality is confidential, and we adhere to that. However, what can be said is that ZCO will serve additional fields of shooting sports in the future and will not rest on where it has successfully established itself. As for the news, you are in good hands with us, because as soon as something is ready to be announced, we will of course inform you with an article.
Regarding what already exists, it was evident that they aim to continuously improve the product. Those who are familiar know that the ZC420 (4-20x50) was released first with a small selection of reticles, followed by the ZC527 (5-27x56) and the existing reticles and turrets were supplemented with additional options for both scopes. The introduction of the ZC840 (8-40x56) last year continued this trend. This means that the experience gained with a new product always contributes to the expansion or improvement of existing products.
They also directly asked the country representatives what they wished for. The results were very interesting because the differences in needs and habits of the respective countries yielded significantly different responses for the premium scope developer.
For this close cooperation with the manufacturer, there was also a highlight for the visiting representatives – in a few months, a new product will be added to the lineup and will be offered to the attendees for testing and later for sale in limited quantities.
After a professional and very interesting discussion evening, the following day focused on the practical part. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants could have fun with their own weapons or, for those who couldn't bring them, with firearms provided by ZCO on a specially rented long range range (up to 1,500m).
All in all, it was a very well-rounded and fruitful event for the invited guests as well as ZERO COMPROMISE itself. We can only praise the bridge that has been built to what customers need because such an approach paves the way for a big name among high-quality riflescope manufacturers - all this painstakingly achieved with a new name and not - like unfortunately so many - resting on an old name.
