Without food, there is no fight - MRE No 38: Pizza!

Meal, Ready-to-Eat (MRE) - colloquially also known as "meal rejected by Ethiopians" - is being expanded to include Menu No. 38: Pepperoni Pizza! It is soon set to be delivered to the troops after a delay last year. The original recipe did not pass the test to be shelf-stable for three years. MREs are placed in a 100 degree hot box for a whole six months. If the MRE is still edible afterwards, it is ready for production. Whether hot or cold, pizza is always a favorite, and soon it will also be available in the MRE. Although the Pizza MRE will be available soon, it may still take about 18 months for US troops to receive it, as they must first consume the old MREs before the new ones can arrive.

Menu No. 39 has already announced "Beef Goulash," which hopefully will be available starting in 2019.
