From mid-2016, a new reflex sight (similar to an EO Tech) will be coming to the market in the USA, the Hartman MH1. The new feature of this sight is that it is charged via USB and uses a single CR123 battery as a backup. The battery life is stated to be 1,000 hours. The rest of the operation is familiar from other optics, so there's no need to reinvent the wheel.
Another innovation provided by the MH1 is that it can be controlled remotely. Whether this proves to be a practical feature remains to be seen. The selling price is expected to be around $650 - equivalent to the current market leader EOTech.
