New night vision: THE14 from ACTinBlack

A new European is here. THE14 is not a new federal state, but the European interpretation of something deeply American, the classic PVS-14 night vision device. ACTinBlack Europe S.à r.l. is particularly pleased to present the latest member of the ACTinBlack family.

The robust THE14 monocular comes from a dedicated team specializing in electronics, mechanics, and optics. Thanks to continuous feedback from partners and end-users, ACTinBlack has rethought the night vision monocular in all aspects with a more modern approach.

The THE14 monocular combines lightweight materials to create the world's lightest PVS-14 compatible monocular at 255g, but still uses standard 18mm image intensifier tubes. Without compromising functionality, it features manual gain, automatic flip-off, IR illuminator, low battery indicator, brightness adjustment, while still using the same control.

Furthermore, THE14 is designed for a depth of 20m for two hours. Each individual housing is tested to ensure this quality. THE14 is also certified according to MIL-STD-810G for environmental, drop, and other relevant criteria.

The monocular can be mounted on a helmet or weapon, expanding night vision capability to complement daytime optics.

THE14 is fully compatible with all classic PVS-14 accessories, optics, and image intensifier tubes. ACTinBlack aims to set a new standard for monocular night vision systems – without the need to replace existing accessories.
