NEW at UF PRO: Delta ML Gen. 2 Tactical Winter Jacket

UF PRO today confirmed that the new Delta ML Gen. 2 Tactical Winter Jacket for military and police units operating in cold weather operations will be available for sale starting October 8.

Armin Wagner, Head of UF PRO Product Development, on the Delta ML Gen. 2 Tactical Winter Jacket: "There is no other tactical winter jacket that offers our performance advantages, which is why we are confident that it will quickly become the first choice for operational forces who want to stay warm and mentally focused in the face of icy winds and chilling cold in the coming months."

According to Wagner, the key features of the Delta ML Gen. 2 Tactical Winter Jacket are:

- Water-repellent and total wind blocker;

- Excellent thermal insulation properties;

- Sweat and odor resistant;

- Exceptional durability with low weight;

- Easy-access pockets inside and outside, eight in total;

- Hand warmers with cutouts suitable for checking the time at a glance.

The Delta ML Gen. 2 Tactical Winter Jacket consists of a breathable, two-layer, partially quilted outer shell and a high-tech lining, explained Wagner. "For the jacket's outer shell, we use a partially quilted nylon ripstop material and underneath a premium 110-gram G-Loft insulation," said the Head of Development at UF PRO. "The reason for the partial quilting and not full quilting is that we can reduce the amount of insulation where needed to maximize freedom of movement. Additionally, this helps to keep the jacket lighter than expected given its high level of protection in winter."

The Delta ML Gen. 2 Tactical Winter Jacket also features a COCONA 37.5™ Microfleece lining system that enables its use in outdoor temperatures up to -10° C, combating both sweat and body odor, according to Wagner. "Overall, the design strategy we have chosen provides plenty of warmth while minimizing the potential for overheating during periods of high activity," said the designer. "As a result, you won't feel wet and the jacket won't start to stink when it gets hot enough to sweat."

"In addition, we have improved the jacket's durability by incorporating mesh panels in the side areas," said Armin Wagner. "These panels are made of abrasion-resistant nylon, so they can withstand constant rubbing from straps of a backpack or plate carrier worn over the jacket."

The developer also believes that wearers of the Delta ML Gen. 2 Tactical Winter Jacket will particularly appreciate the six outer and two inner pockets - the latter with zippers. All are lockable and sufficiently sized to store mission-critical objects.

There is also a zippered pocket on the shoulder of the jacket, but to open it with just one hand, the wearer simply needs to tilt their head down, grab the strap with their teeth, and then easily open the zipper with one hand.

The UF PRO Delta ML Gen. 2 Tactical Winter Jacket will cost €172 and will be available in Black, Coyote Brown (RAL7013), and Steel Grey colors. HERE is the link to find it on the UF PRO website.
