The multinational NATO procurement organization OCCAR (Organisation for Joint Armament Co-operation) has awarded a consortium consisting of the companies HENSOLDT and THEON SENSORS the production and delivery of binocular night vision devices (BNSG) under the Night Vision Capability program. The contract value for the first phase alone is in the high double-digit million-euro range. The order includes 4,550 BNSG systems for the Belgian Armed Forces and 5,000 (plus an optional additional 20,000) systems for the German Armed Forces.
