MSR Sniper for SOCOM

03/15/2013By Redaktion

The US SOCOM has chosen the Remington MSR as the precision rifle for the future. The contract worth approximately USD 80 million includes the delivery of 5,150 rifles with AAC Titan QD suppressors and approximately 4.7 million rounds of precision ammunition. The MSR is capable of switching between the calibers 7.62x51 NATO, .300 Winchester Magnum, and .338 Lapua Magnum. Remington's main competitor was Sako with the TRG M10.
