MSD-5: Is this the kamikaze drone killer?

As drones are used against individual soldiers in Ukraine, drone defense devices are being sought to protect them. "The Armourer's Bench" showcases the handheld firearm designed in Ukraine for countering drones... "A small shotgun-like hand device has been proposed as a drone defense weapon. Given the massive increase in the use of drones and FPV, a small, lightweight, handheld defense weapon could be a sensible response to an urgent and difficult problem."

The exciting part: the device called MSD-5 from STELLARIUM SV in Ukraine is itself – as the name suggests – a "Multifunction Signaling Device", a sort of flare gun on steroids. Anyone shooting at approaching FPV drones with it on the last stretch must at least be very cool-headed – or not have their shotgun with them.
