ELBIT AMERICA has secured a $112 million delivery order from the U.S. MARINE CORPS for its Squad Binocular Night Vision Goggle (SBNVG) systems. This order falls under a multi-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract awarded in 2023, which has a ceiling of $500 million. The SBNVGs will be manufactured at ELBIT's facility in Roanoke, Virginia, with deliveries scheduled through December 2026.
The SBNVG is a lightweight, helmet-mounted system. It integrates white phosphor image intensifier tubes with a clip-on SAFRAN E-COTI thermal imager. This combination provides good depth perception and situational awareness – whether MARINES are operating vehicles, maneuvering on foot, or navigating tunnels or dark buildings. Built for extended missions, the SBNVG delivers up to 10 hours of run-time. Since 2019, ELBIT AMERICA has delivered over 15,000 SBNVG systems to the MARINE CORPS.
