MK20 - The SCAR that SOCOM likes

08/13/2010By Redaktion

Finally a SCAR that SOCOM likes. The MK16 - the 5.56 mm version - was approved (according to the company), but is being met with rejection (according to SOCOM). The MK17 - also known as SCAR-H and blessed with 7.62mm - is already receiving more love and SOCOM is willing to afford it, at least in the quantity that is currently available, because of its greater range. The MK20 now seems to be wanted and introduced, it has been presented so far as a Sniper variant (SV). The device is also referred to as SCAR-H SSR, where the latter stands for "Sniper Support Rifle". A special trigger group, a precision barrel, and a fixed stock with adjustable options make for a rifle that allows for fast and precise fire.
