MILIPOL 17 - Hellhounds! Vikings! NFM!

11/28/2017By Redaktion

Finally, some color comes into play. NFM from Norway - known for the best gear - unveiled its latest color at Milipol 2017: Hellhound Grey. This is exciting because it expands the color palette, which previously consisted of Coyote Brown, Raptor Green, Raven Black, and Multicam. At the same time, this naturally targets police special units, starting with London's Metropolitan Police, who have a great weakness for grey (probably Arc'teryx LEAF's Wolf is significantly to blame).

But Norwegians are even more robust and add "Hellhound" before the "Grey". We don't know if this is a secret homage to Captain Haddock from "Tintin," who always ranted about "hundred thousand hellhounds." (By the way, if you want to practice the art of swearing, I recommend the book "Hunderttausend Höllenhunde: Haddocks Einmaleins des Fluchens". Swearing can be a powerful weapon in combat.)

The North is also generous. In the cover image, the Thor plate carrier from NFM and the GARM gear were seen in Hellhound Grey. Here, the covers have fallen: Thor is naked. NFM clearly relies on Lasercut.

Norwegian combat clothing cuts a powerful figure. I would like to introduce you to the GARM series. Also seen here: NFM licenses the quick-release mechanisms from First Spear. At NFM's booth, we were also treated to a stein of this wonderful beer. The whole lid is opened unusually so that one can drink mouthfuls. Initial results from self-experimentation: delicious, digestible, great finish, and probably south-facing. With a crate, we would immediately write a review in an intensive test. NFM is currently the only equipment brand worldwide with its own beer (the brewery belongs to the boss of NFM). These Vikings are likable!
