Knife for SEALs

12/30/2011By Redaktion

The history of the SEALs is also the history of their knives: starting from World War II, we see here the U.S.N.Mark2 Knife (above) from Robson Shuredge Type I and the U.S.N.Mark1 Knife from Geneva Forge (below).

In 1961, the UDT SEALS received the non-magnetic knife from Imperial NO:223/1156. From 1991 comes the U.S.N. MK3 MOD 0 Knife.

In the 1990s, the U.S.N. SEALS C.U.K. (Combat Utility Knife) from Phrobis made its way to the teams – here is the prototype without markings. Also from the 1990s: U.S.N. S.E.A.L. A.T.A.K. (Advanced Tactical Asault Knife) A805 MAD DOG Fighting Knife. The overview here is far from complete.
