Meme War: Afghanistan

07/24/2021By SPARTANAT crew

Cartoons were yesterday. Memes have long taken over and in the image-text representation, they take a critical look at the world. It's no wonder that there are many very biting memes on the subject of Afghanistan, we have collected them for you. Taking it lightly, Afghanistan might still be compared to the video game Fortnite, from which the graphic above comes.

Afghanistan as a problem story. That explains it just as well...

...like that. That's where it all comes from, you could say.

One can view the whole thing – as a soldier who was there – quite apolitically.

Having been in Afghanistan is not the same for everyone...

...as many memes also show. It's all about unity...

You can also take it in a playful way. Most politicians didn't even want to call it "war."

Contact with the civilian population. Always good for peace. But it seems that it didn't quite work out that way...

Because the self-image of the local residents was somehow more stable than assumed.

And so there was always war there, against anyone who came to explain to the people what's better.

The Russians can sing a song about that.

The involvement of Americans in the Middle East and beyond is also a cause for critical memes.

Vietnam? Great War on Terror? Who would like to make the comparison after the quiet withdrawal of the Americans and NATO partners from Afghanistan ...

And who remembers this beautiful dedication? Right, RAMBO III. Would also fit the Joker now ...
