Marines become compact - USMC chooses MHS M18

It was already clear in March 2018 that the USMC will also adopt the SIG Sauer Modular Handgun System. 35,000 units were to be procured, but the big question was, which version? Now it is known, that the Marine Corps has opted for the compact M18 version. Recently, the US Air Force also chose the Compact Variant. The first pistols have already arrived, and the rest is expected to be delivered within the next two years. The Weapons Training Battalion in Quantico is fortunate, as the first models arrived there in the spring.
