Airborne platform: KMW and DEFENTURE together

The German system house for combat tanks and combat systems Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) and the Dutch manufacturer of special vehicles DEFENTURE intend to enter into a close strategic cooperation. The background is the German Ministry of Defense's plan to procure new airdrop platforms to replace the partially over 20-year-old vehicles of the airborne troops. The basis of the envisioned vehicle family is the VECTOR already introduced and proven in the Netherlands by DEFENTURE.
