LINDNERHOF has unveiled its latest development in tactical equipment, a heavy-duty carrying system called "The Beast." We suspect that this comes from the Bavarian "dos Biest".
Officially, the heavy-duty carrying system is named "The Beast" and was developed for special units that need to advance on foot into operational areas while carrying heavy weapons or generally heavy and bulky equipment.
"With the heavy-duty carrying system, operatives can comfortably carry more equipment over a longer period of time," says Lindnerhof. "'The Beast,' which defies even the toughest challenges, allows operatives to carry more than 20 kilograms of tactical equipment on their shoulders and march through difficult terrain."
The heavy-duty carrying system consists of a carrying frame and a detachable carrier plate, which together form the basis for a 5-in-1 system that can be equipped with a significant number of extras - a multipurpose cover, a backpack, pockets, and other equipment items that can be attached to the system using cleverly placed attachment points.
The carrying frame features reinforced back comfort that conforms to the contours of the backs of most men and women, according to the developers at Lindnerhof.
"Operatives experience higher comfort when carrying the heavy-duty carrying system, as pressure points are avoided through full contact with the upper body and the addition of further reinforcements and additional padding," they say. "Before the introduction of the heavy-duty carrying system, pressure points were particularly problematic when wearing a plate carrier at the same time."
The heavy-duty carrying system also features a quick release function, allowing operatives to instantly shed their load in case of emergency. The mesh material on all contact surfaces absorbs sweat and ensures quick drying, according to the gear makers at Lindnerhof.
The carrier plate easily attaches to the carrying frame and has a range of attachment points where over 20 kg of heavy tools, anti-tank weapons, heavy weapon systems, and a variety of other mission-critical items can be secured.
"The modular design of the system allows loads to be secured in almost infinite combinations," says an equipment developer. "Operatives can even keep multiple carrier plates with each having mission-specific configurations and effortlessly swap them when needed."
One of the reasons users of the heavy-duty carrying system can carry more equipment over a longer period without getting tired or feeling the need for relief is the intelligent distribution of the total weight. "The attachment elements of the system evenly distribute the weight onto the carrier plate and then onto the carrying frame, while the intelligent fixation functions prevent wobbling and the issues that such movements can cause," Lindnerhof TAKTIK explains. "These functions work together with the user as a unit, providing 3D stability by minimizing vertical and horizontal movements and vibrations between the individual parts, significantly slowing down fatigue."
Lastly, quick-release buckles, strap guides, a top handle, and a bottom handle allow for quick and easy operation of the heavy-duty carrying system, even in the dark.
"The Beast is in a class of its own," say the gear makers at LINDNERHOF. Starting today, the heavy-duty carrying system can be ordered by authorities.
