During his visit to Russia with Vickers Tactical, Larry not only tested the AN-94 - which he was not so enthusiastic about, but also the probably most promising Russian competitor: the AEK-971, which partially compensates for the kinetic energy of the bolt carrier with a counterweight, thus reducing recoil.
