ENFORCE TAC 25:

Small prisms from PRIMARY ARMS

03/13/2025By Max

At the booth of FERKINGHOFF, PRIMARY ARMS was also represented with their latest optics. We particularly liked their two new small prism optics CLx-1x and CLx-3x.

The CLx 1x

The novelty of these two micro prism optics is the use of the AIMPOINT Micro T1 hole pattern, instead of the previous Mini-ACOG mounting.

The CLx-1x is an optic with simple magnification (i.e. none), which is actually like a red dot, but with an etched reticle, so you are not necessarily dependent on a battery. The reticle is a dot with a circle around it. The glass quality is very clear and good, and the eye relief is also extremely good.

Here is the introduction video from PRIMARY ARMS itself.

The CLx-3x

The CLx-3x is the bigger brother, offering you a 3X magnification. Also with this optic, the eye relief is very good, not as large as with the CLx-1x, but still very good for a prism optic.

The reticle is a simplified crosshair with a few hold marks. It does not use a "chevron", the small roof instead of a dot, as a normal crosshair or dot is preferred by customers.

PRIMARY ARMS also has a nice introduction video for this. Both optics are expected to be available during the year.
