This next generation optic features an improved LED emitter paired with a higher capacity CR2032 battery that stays on constantly for an amazing five years (50,000 hours) and helps shooters get on target faster and more accurately. Designed to withstand the physical forces generated by a semi-automatic pistol slide, the ACRO™ series was the first pistol sight to offer a fully enclosed optical channel to protect the LED emitter. Built to exceed the requirements of professional users, the Acro P-2 has been tested and proven to withstand the extreme shocks, vibrations, temperatures, and material stresses that arise from firing over 20,000 rounds of .40 S&W ammunition.

The new highly efficient LED emitter delivers a sharp 3.5 MOA dot. Clear glass lenses on the front and rear protect the reflective lens system. The new digital intensity adjustment keypad provides a clearer tactile feeling when adjusting dot intensity, and these controls are now located next to the battery compartment to protect the power settings from unintended changes.

The Acro P-2/C-2 can be used not only as a primary optic on handguns, but also mounted on rifles, shotguns, and rifles, or used as a backup sight for magnified scopes and thermal imaging devices. This optic can be mounted on a variety of optics-capable handguns using adapter plates. It is also night vision compatible, and the dot can be turned up for use in bright sunlight.

AIMPOINT red dot sights operate parallax-free, meaning the visible dot remains parallel to the bore of your weapon no matter what angle your eye is in relation to the sight. This means the user never has to worry about centering the dot within the sight. If you have a correct zero, when the dot is on the target, so are you. Aimpoint red dot sights boost confidence by allowing the shooter to focus on the target while keeping both eyes open and fully aware of the overall situation at all times. Shooters can achieve first hits faster and with greater confidence.
