Hunt Commando: DEFENTURE GRF for Austria.

On April 8, the Austrian Ministry of Defense signed a contract with DEFENTURE for the delivery of a batch of Ground Force (GRF) vehicles. With this order, the Federal Ministry of Defense (BMLV) has decided on a light tactical and air-transportable mobile platform (MOTS) for the Jagdkommando to replace the PUCH G 290/LP Sandviper.

Austria focuses on high mobility and security

The GRF is recognized as a high-performance platform in terms of agility, speed, traction, and payload. Together with high ground clearance for extreme off-road capability and a special 4-wheel steering system, it provides a high level of mobility and security. The flexibility of the GRF platform allows the vehicles to be equipped with a specific configuration and various system integrations tailored to the operational needs of the Austrian Jagdkommando. Delivery of the vehicles will begin in 2024.

Defenture and Achleitner join forces

DEFENTURE and ACHLEITNER have entered into a strategic partnership for the delivery and support of the light tactical and air-transportable armored vehicle GRF. As partners, Achleitner will be responsible for the lifelong maintenance and service support on behalf of and in cooperation with DEFENTURE. The forces of DEFENTURE and ACHLEITNER are also combined in system integration and further development of the configuration.
