IWA 2024: Thermal pistol optic from HOLOSUN

In Germany, HOLOSUN offers excellent optics for pistols and long guns that stand out for their great price-performance ratio. At the IWA, you could not only see the models already available, but also a prototype: it looks like a pistol red dot with weapon light, but it is much more.

"Light" and optics are paired directly in the DPS-TH. Under the barrel is a thermal optic, beautifully visible on the lens, as well as illuminators with normal light, located under the lens.

The corresponding optic for the DPS-TH is a bit bulkier than expected from HOLOSUN: but it is not a simple red dot, it overlays its red dot on the thermal image. We find it extremely exciting how HOLOSUN plays with miniaturized thermal optics and are also very excited about the long gun model DRS-TH - HERE is the article from last year's IWA.

If you want to get it explained in detail, the colleagues from MILITARY TIMES got an exclusive introduction to the thermal optic for the pistol at the SHOT Show 2024, and the HOLOSUN long gun thermal optics are also visible on the table, which will be available soon. We found out that the pistol will need another year.
