IWA 18: Well-helmeted with Andres Industries

Andres Industries presented the previously announced Bastion Helmet at Enforce Tac and IWA 2018. Configured in the full protection variant in the image above, it offers a VPAM7 protection class all around, meaning it can withstand rifle calibers.

Here is the helmet without the additional tiles, essentially a regular combat helmet weighing just under 1kg and yet offering a protection factor of VPAM3. The additional tiles can be mounted on the front, back, or side independently. The modularity is advantageous if one wants to save weight.

A special novelty is the TILO-6, the big-eyed brother of the TILO-3 - here in the SPARTANAT Review - with a resolution of 640x512 pixels, a 60 Hz and 40 mK sensor. This thermal image looks even better as a result. The TILO-3Z is also now available with a better sensor than the TILO-3Z+ and slightly modified menu navigation.
