The State Highway Patrol in the US state of Minnesota will mount the reflex sight ROMEO4H on their duty long gun. Along with numerous other units in the USA, the Minnesota State Highway Patrol, which comprises approximately 550 men and women and is responsible for statewide highway safety in the state, has now chosen an optic from SIG SAUER. Among the users is also the US Army, which recently adopted the tactical riflescope TANGO6T
The ROMEO4H ensures a battery life of up to 50,000 hours thanks to an extremely powerful CR2032 battery. It also features four different reticle options that can be quickly switched between by a simple button press. A high-strength CNC aluminum housing, as used in aircraft construction, provides the necessary robustness while still ensuring a low overall weight.
In Germany, German Sport Guns (GSG) from Ense distributes optics for SIG SAUER. GSG managing director Michael Swoboda comments on the order from Minnesota: "The performance of our red dot sights is getting around: the ROMEO series is not only extremely successful with authorities but also in the civilian sector."
