HOW TO: Attach helmet camera to hearing protection

07/16/2013By Redaktion

Life can be so simple, you just have to figure it out. For anyone spending a day at the shooting range and wanting to capture it from a POV perspective, the market offers plenty of cameras and various mounting options. Most of these are attached to a helmet or headgear. During our last trip to the shooting range, inspiration struck and we came up with the easiest and most "Low Pro" mounting of all time: a rubber band. Simply wrap it around the ear protection strap, stick the camera through, and you're done (see image above). It holds securely and can be easily removed without a trace.
