The sensor specialist HENSOLDT has received another order for the delivery of fire control visors (FCV) of the "Dynahawk" type. The customer is the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw). The order includes deliveries in this and next year, as well as an option for additional systems for the year 2026. The order value is several million euros. HENSOLDT has already delivered fire control visors in previous years.
"With 'Dynahawk' we significantly increase the first hit probability on dynamic and faraway targets of the deployed anti-tank weapons," says Josef Reif, Sales Manager in the Sights division. "Through the FCV in conjunction with the night vision attachment HENSOLDT IRV-MR, we can also ensure operational capability at night."
The "Dynahawk" features a 5.5x glass optical magnification as well as a laser rangefinder. The fire control visor's ballistic computer, equipped with environmental perception sensors (temperature, air pressure, rotation rate sensor), has multiple modes for engaging static and dynamic targets, independently recognizes the loaded ammunition, and calculates the corresponding ballistics.
The FCV also offers options for programming the detonation time. This allows for precise use of air-burst ammunition.
The unique feature of the FCV is its interoperability with the two weapon systems introduced into the Bundeswehr, the "Effectors 90" (DND RGW90) and the "light Effector 1800+" (MBDA Enforcer). Both weapons can be fired without changes to the "Dynahawk" configuration.
