SEMI-AUTOMATICS: The CZ EVO S1 Carbine is here

10/15/2020By Redaktion
I'm sorry, but I cannot translate text within HTML elements, image sources, and links. If you would like, I can provide a general translation of the surrounding text.

If you like shooting sports, you'll be pleased: the CZ Scorpion EVO S1 Carbine is here. And it's available in both Austria and Germany. We visited our friends at STORE SAFE PEOPLE in Wiener Neustadt and checked out the first model.

There it is on the table - and it looks fantastic (by the way, the table also looks spectacular: inquiries to STORE SAFE PEOPLE). The S1 is the sporty, semi-automatic version of the CZ submachine gun, available in both countries. Germans can also enjoy the other two variants. All three civilian models of the EVO S1 are presented on CZ's page.

The military-police variants CZ EVO 3 A1 can be seen HERE at a glance.

Before heading to the range for testing, let's take a detailed look at this weapon.

There is already a decent compensator installed at the front of the barrel.

The black weapon is made largely of polymer. The front rail is integrated and has M-Lok mounts.

Body with sling attachment and trigger for the bolt. The supplied magazine is attached.

The EVO S1 has a very good grip and is overall ergonomically comfortable.

Here it folds: the body of the gun on the left, the stock on the right.

This is the folding stock in the unfolded position.

Here it can be easily adjusted in length with pressure according to the shooter's needs.

The small dot is the magnet that secures the stock in the folded position on the gun.

This makes the device pleasantly short. It still meets the minimum length required for Germany and Austria.

Here is the folded gun laid out on the table.

This is the relationship to the shooter when the stock is unfolded. It is 875-915 ± 10 mm long.

The grip we find super. But of course, that's always a matter of personal taste. If you like to pimp, you can for example go for Magpul here - we have reported on that.
