Well padded with SEND NODS

This time they did not send night vision devices, but SEND NODS presented other exciting things at the Agency Days 2025, which also stem from their innovative work with 3D printing. Above you can see a HK416, whose stock has been extended with a mesh from the printer. A loose solution that works well. 

SEND NODS not only creates 3D printed, ventilated padding for plate carriers with this method – HERE we have already introduced them to you – but also develops special solutions. The above looks like a whole headgear from the printer, but it is the interior for a heavy bomb disposal helmet. 

Now the EOD already has enough to carry with all their protective equipment. The new helmet padding not only protects the operator better than classic pads, as the mesh distributes pressure better, but you can now also install a mini fan in the helmet.
