Small discussion, big style. The XM556 is a handy minigun that we were able to admire at the last SHOT SHOW. Back then it was presented as a project, now it is set to come, the XM556 is really going to be built.

Ammunition: Caliber 5.56 mm NATO
Rate of fire: 2,000 to 6,000 rounds per minute
Weight: empty 8 kg
Operation: six barrels can be rotated in both directions to clear jams
Feed: uses a 1,000-round backpack
