For the jumpers among us

05/22/2012By Redaktion

Whether you're doing HAHO (High altitude high opening) or prefer HALO (High altitude low opening) jumps, you always need to know your altitude. That's why skydivers wear an altimeter on their arm, an instrument that tells them how high they are. This helps determine when to pull the parachute release line. These devices are part of good gear, but they can be quite expensive. In the image above, you can see them on the skydiver's arm, and in the header image, the altimeter is right in front of the oxygen mask of the man on the right. The Element Altimeter is a non-functional dummy, with three options for customizing the dial and a built-in light that can be dimmed. So, you'll be well equipped for bunk bed jumps in the future. Element does not guarantee anything for any other activities ... Understandable. So: bunk bed jumps and don't forget to pull the line after jumping and check the altimeter.
