FullShield TQ Holder by SCHNACKY PROGRESS

10/14/2024

The tourniquet is designed to save lives. Police and military personnel often work in harsh environments, where their equipment is exposed to tough conditions. Therefore, it is very important to protect this life-saving medical device from UV radiation, weather influences, dust, dirt, etc., as well as friction. In addition, it must be safely transported and readily accessible. The Swiss manufacturer of tactical equipment SCHNACKY PROGRESS has developed the FullShield TQ Holder to reduce the wear and tear of the TQ, extend its lifespan, and ensure its operational readiness.

Specifications

The FullShield TQ Holder is three-part and consists of the MOLLE-Tourniquet Holder, the FullShield Kit, and the FullShield Crown.

The MOLLE-Tourniquet Holder has dimensions of 120 x 60 x 30 mm.

The FullShield Kit has dimensions of 510 x 52 mm. Here pictured with the FullShield Crown.

The complete set measures 152 x 60 x 33 mm. Thanks to the materials used, the weight is only 50 grams.

Processing

SCHNACKY PROGRESS uses high-quality and robust materials such as Cordura 500d/500d laminate, CURVE, woven elastic polyester bands, Velcro brand hook-and-loop fasteners, and Paracord for the FullShield TQ Holder. All materials are made in Germany or the USA, are MilSpec certified, IRR treated, and completely laser-cut.

The inner side of the pocket discreetly features the SCHNACKY PROGRESS logo engraved in the CURVE.

The back of the MOLLE-Tourniquet Holder features laser-cut MOLLE/PALS loops at half spacing.

One of the distinguishing features of the tourniquet pouch is the zigzag stitch on the main rubber band. All sensitive seams are reinforced with a zigzag stitch for increased strength and durability.

Application

The long FullShield Kit is attached with Velcro to the MOLLE-Tourniquet Holder.

Then, the long band is inserted into the holder until a small portion protrudes on the other side.

Next, a tourniquet is inserted and pushed through.

Subsequently, the other end of the FullShield Kit is secured to the MOLLE-Tourniquet Holder.

In the final step, the FullShield Crown is pulled over the tourniquet, covering the C-clips (windlass lock) on both sides. This has two advantages: a) camouflage of the mostly white time band and b) protection of the band from damage and dirt.

An additional protection for the crown of the tourniquet is provided by the rubber band, which is attached to the pull tab with Velcro. The FullShield Crown is designed to automatically detach when pulling the pull tab.

This ensures that the tourniquet is protected yet easily accessible. This double protection ensures that the tourniquet is always in perfect condition.

In case of emergency, the crown protection opens automatically by pulling the Paracord loop.

By further pulling the loop, the pocket opens completely, and the tourniquet is pulled upwards. The Paracord loop ensures an easy and quick grip, even under high stress and with gloves.

Conclusion

The FullShield TQ Holder from SCHNACKY PROGRESS is a flexible and well-thought-out design suitable for both right and left-handed users, operable with one hand, with both strong and weak hands. The crown protection ensures that the tourniquet is always in perfect condition. The new tourniquet pouch from SCHNACKY PROGRESS offers maximum protection and extends the lifespan of the binding system. The pouch is made of high-quality material, robustly constructed, and equipped with practical features. It is an essential choice for police and military.

The FullShield TQ Holder from SCHNACKY PROGRRESS is available in colors Black, Coyote, Multicam, Ranger Green, Black with orange Paracord here for 54.95 EUR.
