Freshly belted: Lindnerhof LT562 Curv® Belt

07/06/2022By Redaktion

A highly flexible, extremely comfortable Warbelt made from a unique combination of materials that give the belt impressive strength and light weight is now available:

The Lindnerhof-Taktik LT562 Curv® Belt weighs so little that wearers can attach tactical gear that they previously did not want or could not carry, according to the manufacturer. "Operatives who wear a conventional Warbelt usually do not want to add more weight in the form of additional equipment," says Jakob Kolbeck, managing director of Lindnerhof-Taktik. "The typical Belt comes with a heavy weight and often essential equipment is omitted."

“Our new Curv® Belt series solves this problem. It is ultralight, allowing more equipment to be attached without becoming so heavy that it affects the wearer's performance,” explains the new Mister Lindnerhof. “The super lightweight of our Curv® Belt should not deceive its robustness. It meets the tactical requirements for high impact resistance and - even in very cold temperatures - for tensile strength."

According to Kolbeck, all this is possible thanks to the unique material combination of the Curv® Belt. This combination consists of a polypropylene base and a 500 Denier thick layer of specially coated CORDURA® fabric to create a flexible yet sufficiently rigid structure that does not require additional reinforcements.

“We call it Curv® material,” says Kolbeck. “The inspiration comes from the automotive industry with its classic high-performance textiles used for manufacturing seat belts and other vehicle components."

Kolbeck said that Lindnerhof-Taktik also relied on feedback from its customers to push the design and development team to look beyond the traditional textile materials.

“We always listen very closely to our customers to identify common needs - this is an approach that can lead to the development of great new products like the Curv® Belt,” explains Kolbeck. The LT562 Curv® Belt is laser-cut, allowing pockets and equipment to be attached directly to the integrated MOLLE slots. Additionally, the Belt is anatomically shaped to provide a better fit and more comfort.

“A Warbelt that does not fit properly impairs the wearer's performance,” says the expert. “Likewise, it is not advantageous if the wearer cannot quickly remove the Belt. These are the problems that our new Curv® Belt series successfully solves.”

Kolbeck also points out that the Curv® Belt can easily be adapted to other belts from Lindnerhof-Taktik, such as the LT465 Belt. “We have incorporated a band with Velcro hooks on the inside of the Curv® Belt, allowing it to be attached over another belt,” he explains.

The Curv® Belt is available in a range of colors: Stone Gray, Black, German 5fb Flecktarn, Coyote, and MultiCam®. It is offered in sizes Small, Medium, Large, and Extra-Large.

“Our goal in developing the Curv® Belt was to retain the key features of a classic Warbelt while exceeding the limits of what was possible for Warbelts made from conventional materials,” says Kolbeck. “I am very confident that we have fully achieved this goal.”
