07/07/2021By Redaktion

From July 13 to 15, 2021, FN Herstal will showcase its classics at DEFEA in Greece. Here is a little preview.

Developed to the most demanding specifications, tested and used by combat units worldwide, the FN SCAR is not just a rifle, but a whole family that covers the entire range of requirements of the modern soldier. The highly innovative design of the FN SCAR combines outstanding performance in all conditions with unlimited modularity and flexibility. Ergonomic commonalities and parts interchangeability throughout the FN SCAR family ensure simplified sniper and user training as well as reduced lifecycle costs.

The lightweight and very compact (50 cm short) FN P90 Tactical Submachine Gun is easy to handle in confined spaces and easy to operate and maintain. The FN P90 is offered with optional accessories such as optical sights, tactical lighting, and suppressors. The FN P90 is also available with a visible or IR laser pointer completely integrated into the housing. As a NATO-standard caliber, the 5.7x28mm caliber provides armies with the guarantee of interchangeability between ammunition from different manufacturers and operational efficiency for weapons of this caliber.

The FN MINIMI and the FN MAG machine guns have repeatedly proven themselves in combat and earned their position as market leaders in their field. The FN MINIMI Mk3 Light Machine Gun, available in calibers 5.56x45mm and 7.62x51mm NATO, offers improved ergonomics and increased mobility while maintaining the technical and operational performance of the previous versions.

FN Herstal offers a range of upgrade kits with which any in-service FN MINIMI Mk1 or Mk2 machine gun can be upgraded to the Mk3 version according to customer requirements, such as a tactical buttstock conversion kit or a handguard/bipod conversion kit.

The Sea deFNder Remote Weapon Station is perfectly suited to support maritime needs and requirements. The naval remote weapon station exhibited at DEFEA will be equipped with the exclusive FN M3R machine gun in .50 caliber, featuring a high rate of fire of 1,100 rounds per minute. Configurations with FN MAG or FN M2HB-QCB machine guns are also available.
