FIRST LOOK: The BLACK TRIDENT Tactical Field Care Kit

Slowly the BLACK TRIDENT Range Belt is filling up. Now, the Range Setup is complemented by a Tactical Field Care Kit. We are used to the fact that the guys from BLACK TRIDENT keep their products simple and stress-resistant. But can something new be invented here, after countless IFAKs on the market?

We took a look at the TFC Kit (= Tactical Field Care Kit) as BLACK TRIDENT calls their IFAK and noticed some points for the first time:

• Wrinkle-free storage of Chest Seals
• Vertical and horizontal MOLLE mounting in one product
• Loops for direct mounting on the Black Trident Range Belt (or any other belt with a width of 45mm)

The ability to mount an IFAK vertically and horizontally has been long overdue. But the Softgoods department of BLACK TRIDENT went even further. The MOLLE attachment is supplemented here by a direct belt attachment. So, BLACK TRIDENT offers three mounting options with just one outer shell. This calls for a case for everything!

Contrary to the very multi-functional-looking outer shell, the inner pocket may seem simple. But that's not the case - it has a lot to offer. The shape itself is reminiscent of a pencil case. However, it ensures that the classic IFAK contents like Chest Seal, Quick Clot, Compressed Gauze, Rescue Blanket, Israeli Bandage, Glow Stick, Marker, and Needle'D can be accommodated almost DOUBLE (2x). The highlight is an inconspicuous outer pocket that wraps around the outer bag. Here, up to 2 Chest Seals can be stored wrinkle-free. Anyone who has ever had to apply a Chest Seal definitely knows that this feature is essential. However, we are still seeing it for the first time.

Additionally, the inner pocket fits perfectly into the Spiritus Systems Microfight Chest Rig MK4. As one of the most seen Chest Rigs, the inner pocket will certainly also be popular among some Spiritus users. The closure of the inner pocket offers the possibility of variation in size. The "flap" can be attached lower or upper in the inner pocket depending on the content using Velcro. This allows everything to be compressed well. In addition to small part organization, the closure also offers enough compartments. Also interesting is the long paracord for hanging alongside the paracord for opening. This ensures that the inner pocket stays with the patient. Due to the simple pencil case design, the excess content can be quickly stored away again. Not unimportant, since we all know the associated issue of having to find the right position for the part to be cared for in the middle of combat.

What catches our eye is the unusual label on the back: B122. We don't know specifics, but there are rumors that it is the call sign of a European SOF Master Medic.
