The old problem with backpack and gunbelt. Both together don't work as you want it to. Either you use the hip belt as a gunbelt, then the backpack cannot be quickly removed without also removing your first line. Or you use a gunbelt and do without the hip belt of the backpack. Unfortunately, this is also not a good solution for heavy loads. But AttackPAK from the USA have come up with the perfect solution here.
On the gunbelt, a compartment is attached at the back, which the frame plate of the backpack hooks into. This way you have good load transfer over the hip and can quickly drop the backpack - and still keep your first line.
The putting on and taking off looks quite practical in the video and the concept makes perfect sense. We will take a closer look at this system in the future.
