Timney Triggers' new Two-Stage MP5 Trigger Module has a trigger weight of 0.9 kg (2 Pound) in both the first and second stages. The trigger breaks – as expected from Timney triggers – crystal clear, enhancing the inherent precision of HK platforms (and their clones).

All trigger components are precision-made from high-quality materials to ensure a lifetime of reliable function. The trigger housing is made of 6061 T6 aluminum and black anodized to create a weather-resistant and corrosion-resistant trigger. The hammer is made of S7 tool steel, heat treated, and NP3 coated to ensure maximum smoothness during trigger movement. Both the trigger shoe and sear are milled from A2 tool steel, heat treated, and carbonitride-coated for the smoothest function possible.

According to Timney Triggers, the trigger is compatible with HK 91/93 and 94 firearms and their clones (e.g., SAR M41, MKE T41/T94, BT96, OA5, etc.), SEF/semi-automatic trigger packs, and the corresponding selector levers.

The HK MP5 Two-Stage Trigger utilizes the ejector lever, ejector spring, and ejector axis pin from the original trigger. These can be legally converted in a short time, without much effort or tools required.
