The Estonian Center for Defense Investments (ECDI) has signed a contract with Sako Ltd for the procurement of new 8.6mm sniper rifles for the Estonian Defense Forces and the Defense League. The new rifles from SAJO, the TRG M10 with Steiner optics, represent an improvement over the sniper rifles previously used, as they are more precise and stable in shooting performance. The competitors were Haenel RS9/G29, Unique Alpine TPG3A4, and Desert Tech SRS-M2.

The total value of the framework contract for the next seven years is 40 million euros. The first order will include approximately 70 rifles. The new weapons will be delivered to both the 1st and 2nd Infantry Brigades of the Estonian Defense Forces and to the Defense League. All information about the SAKO TRG M10.
