STEAMBOW proudly presents its latest development: the PD-5. This extremely powerful crossbow sets new standards and combines high range, precision, and impact in a very compact platform - delivering the performance of a full-size repeating crossbow in a pistol crossbow size. 

The STEAMBOW PD-5 combines expertise in building repeating crossbows with the demands of the security industry. High-quality materials, thoughtful design, and precise manufacturing – “Made in Austria.” The PD-5 can be disassembled into its main components with just a few hand movements and is ready for use again in under 20 seconds. The repeating crossbow is equipped with a robust safety mechanism, allowing it to be carried in a drawn state. It features many thoughtful details, such as an adjustable tiltable, continuous sight rail, a tritium night sight for operations in the dark, and Picatinny rails for accessories. The STEAMBOW PD-5 will be available in two versions: the “PD-5” and the “PD-5 Professional.” 

PD-5 

The PD-5 in the “Standard version” is specially designed for shooters who have high demands on themselves and their equipment. With the PD-5, one receives a very precise, ergonomically perfect, robust, and also durable sporting weapon that shows no signs of wear even with daily training. The PD-5 comes standard with a 90 lbs bow and 5 practice arrows. 

PD-5 Professional

The PD-5 Professional serves as a defense and operational tool, but also as a robust training platform for professional users. To fully exploit the potential of the PD-5, a correspondingly strong bow is required. Therefore, the Professional variant will be delivered with a 135 lbs high-performance bow designed specifically for this platform. Consequently, the shooter must also possess a fair amount of physical strength to be able to quickly draw the crossbow consecutively.
